God is Good Even When the World is Not

My family and I recently underwent some very trying times. My husband switched jobs (his old employer had to lay off most of the staff) and we were uninsured since we could not afford COBRA insurance with no paycheck. Long story short, my husband was hired within one week at a new company, praise God. The catch was he did not have insurance for 90 days. I did not let this bother me since I decided we were going to walk in faith that God would not let harm come to us. Needless to say, my husband was hospitalized for a minor issue. The bills kept coming in from various sources. The lab, hospital and doctors were sending us bill after bill. We of course could not afford these bills! Still, we kept our faith that God is good. That does not mean that we were not stressed. We were crazy with stress! But the Lord delivered us from the situation in a way that we could never have imagined. The medical bills were written off 100%! We did not have to pay a dime. God did not need any help in taking care of this situation. He did not just lower the payments, but He had thousands of dollars written off for us. I learned that I can stress and worry all I want, but God can handle what is a unsurmountable problem for me effortlessly. Poof! The bills were gone.
